My journey started on March 22, 1944 at 5:41 am, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I was born and raised there and lived most of my life in Michigan. I graduated from Kelloggsville High School in 1962. Entered the United States Air Force in August of 1962, where I was sent to Texas for basic training. Spent some time in North Dakota and a couple years in Hawaii. I came home a much different person. I was now a Catholic and entered a seminary in Dallas, Texas. I was there only 6 months. My time in the Air Force awakened in me a deep longing for spiritual truth, and while a lot of people find this in the Catholic Church, I did not. I am not making judgements here. My journey just took me down different roads.
I was Married 3 times, had two wonderful kids with my first wife.
I got a job at the then Hekman Biscuit Company, which became the Keebler Company and then the Kellogg Company. I worked from March 7, 1967 to September 16, 2006. 39.5 years.
I had for many years practiced polarity energy balancing. I had heard about reiki but wasn't interested in it, as I was all ready moving energy, why pay money to do what I am already doing, I would say. Well one day I met a beautiful woman with whom I fell deeply in love with and she suggested reiki to me. And I actually took my first reiki class to impress her, even though by then she wasn't even speeking to me any more.
Well, after my attunement to reiki, I could really feel the difference in the energy levels flowing through me, and it wasn't my energy. In the polarity energy balancing, the energy the person being worked on circulates through the person doing the energy work, it goes back and forth or around and around. But with reiki the energy comes down through the top of my head and out my hands, its not my enegy. Well after my reiki experience, I discovered urevia and took a class and got attuned. Then I got attuned to la ho-chi and flowing liquid light. In April of this year (2007) I was initiated into the ama deus energy.
